Black Lake Campti, March 24th***CANCELLED***

Our next event will be on Black Lake Campti, on March 24th, at Chandler's Marina.  Since our 7 Pound Pot was broken at Caddo, everyone is eligible to get in at this event.  Hope to see everyone there!

Apparently, the Campti/Natchitoches/Coushatta areas got pounded with 10+ inches of rain yesterday and last night. I just got in touch with the lady at Black Lake Lodge, and it's completely flooded...she said that they are evacuating the trailers in Chandlers and the ramps/parking lots are under water...and it's still rising. So, it looks like we're going to have to cancel this one. Our next event will be on Bistineau, April 7th...hopefully we'll have better luck with that one. It's hard to believe that in January all these lakes were so low that we were wondering if they would be usable...be careful what you wish for, I guess.
