Grand Bayou Bass Fishing Report--Jan,14 2006

Fished Grand today from sun up till 1:00.  Man that morning air was chilly!     34 degrees when we idled off the ramp.  Boated 3 keepers (under) and two very FAT 16".  Spent half of the day looking around the lake since the water is down like Dave said and very clear.  Lots of healthy grass still, just not as thick as it was in the summer.
Saw some surface activity first thing in the morning but did not turn around to chase it.  Lots of Crappie caught by other anglers. One guy was leaving the launch when we pulled out at 1:00 and he had over 30!
