Finally got our 1st win with 28lbs on Istokpoga

My partner and I finally got our first tournament win as team this past weekend.   We fished Lake Istokpoga and caught only 6 fish all day but thank the Lord they were all big.    Two fish in the 7lb range, one over 6 and a couple others in the 4lb range.    Total was just a hair under 28lbs!!!   The last fish of the day was a 3lber that we didnt bother to weigh.   

Landed the bigest fish of the tourney with one of those 7lber as well.   As I said we caught only 6 but we lost some big ones.   I don't think we got bit by anything smaller than 3lbs all day.    Quite a tournament.

Wow, nice day and in a tourney no less.  I fished that lake in January and had a blast.  I hope to fish it more later this year.  Good luck to you!!

Nice! I fished a tourney at Kissimmee last weekend and it took over 27 lbs to even be in the money.

Here are the pictures from just after weigh in.   Off to Okeechobee next and believe it or not I have never bass fished in that lake and have only been on the water once there when I was a kid.   Looking forward to it though.
