~cf Hey Guys, I have a question about Black Bayou Hosston. I have heard people talk about the Buzzards roost many times. Just wondering if somebody could tell me where on the lake this is?
Thanks and good fishing

I have heard of the bay in the west side, south of the mouth of the river, called this. If you look at Google earth it's a pretty big bay with no trees in it and you can actually work the banks.

Thanks, just wondering. I had a guy ask me at the launch last week if the lake was up enough to get into it. When I asked where it was he just kinda chuckeled. Figured it would be worth knowing.

I very well could be wrong. It's shallow in there with a creek in the back so maybe.

Mike is right.  On the SW end of the lake just south of the river is a small bay they call Buzzard Bay.  There is a creek that feeds into it called Crap Creek or (well you know the other term)  Vivian's sewer systems actually drains into the bayou right there.  Believe it or not it holds some really good fish around this time of year.  Be careful traveling off of the channel to get to it as there are thousands of stumps between the channel and the bay.  Hope this helps.
