Was up there today and with the water being up now. Some of them r at water level or just above. They is a group with orange flagging on them just north of Shady Acres real close to running side of poles. They go under water with the waves. We almost ripped the bottom off a brand new Skeeter FX20 today. Was less then 6inches from ripping the passanger bottom of boat off.

James you know those rods are out of the boat lane by 6 inches or more, been meaning to mark them with the orange gas line. With this last rain the water came up and they are now hard to see. Just about everything on the Louisiana side that is in the boat lane has been marked. I had not got to those as they are on the far side of the boat lane poles. What worries me is the ones they marked with steel rods off the boat lanes, not a very intelligent thing to do.

Wayne all i know is they r close and my pucker factor went high. All it would take is a wrong wave from a boat and u would hit them. I was riding shotgun also. If they r that far off. I didnt notice as i freaking out!!!!

Noticed the same rods last weekend. If you stay left of the pole on the marker side youll be fine. They are a little close for comfort though!

Got that marked today with orange gas line, there are three rods marking pilings together in that area and it looked like two of them had been hit. I marked the one closest to boat lane.
