Budget day trip

I'm working in Florida for a few weeks and it to far to drive home to Indian every weekend. So a buddie and me took a day trip down to Lochloosa lake around Ocala. They have paddle boats for about 20 bucks a day. It was a grate trip for what we spent. We didn't cover much ground (paddle!! Lol) but we did manage to find a few fish in the pads. The water was realy shalow and we were throwing spro frogs where we could see bass role at baitfish. But the big catch of the day was a bald eagle with about a 3 pounder not 50 yards from the boat. That was one of the coolest things I've ever seen.

SOunds like a good way to spend a weekend away from home!  We have some bald eagles on caddo Lake here in Louisiana and it is awesome to see them swoop down and stick those talons through a fish.  Beautiful animals!!!
