Hey guys, hoping to fish a tournament there the first week end in june as a co-angler while the girls are at the CMA`s.  Just wondering what tackle I need to bring, I`ll have a 17 hour drive, so I don`t want to bring it all.  Thanks for the info.

I love that lake - I didn't do so well in the tournament (53rd blanked the final day) but in practice I got a giant. I was there in april so it was much different. The lake is fairly clear and has some giant smallmouth and some nice largemouth. I'd be surprised if you couldn't get some good bites on topwater in the AM and later in the day I'd flip docks with a 3/8oz jig.

As a co-angler I'd recommend a shakey head with a trick worm and a drop shot with an MMIII Roboworm.
