Well guys I bought one this weekend. I am now the proud new owner of a 05 triton tr-186 limited edition. White with red striping, matching trailer with trailer brakes, 05 mercury 150 xr6, 24v motorguide 71lb thrust trolling motor, lowrance elite on the console with gps, lowrance mark5 on the bow, Jack plate, hot foot, and brand new custom made traveling boat and motor cover. I am pretty excited guys. I was a little weary of getting a carb motor, but everyone makes it sound like that is a good one, and when i showed up and he turned the key and it fired right up and idled like a champ I was pretty surprised. Then he told me it Hadnt been started since june. I will get pictures on as soon as possible. I am excited to get out and run it.

Sweet! You are going to love this boat. I have the exact same one that I bought new in 2005 and have never regretted it. Have had no issues that were not caused by me! Such as hitting submerged objects!

Thanks guys.

Yes that is my plan. I would have took it there sunday, but the news said it was supposed to be nasty so I didn't plan on it. Since I stayed up till 5 a.m. starring at it in the garage I wasn't prepared to go when it turned out to be nice and sunny and low wind. That lake is not happy on windy days. lol  :o I am sure first nice day I will be somewhere on the water ready to run it and get used to this style of boat.

I cant help but to sit and stare every night at my new boat. :shocking: I have cleaned it from the 4 hr drive home in the rain. I have put all my gear in it. Tonight taking stickers off to get ready for the new numbers. Man I am dying to take it out, But with a high of 23 this saturday I doubt thats going to happen. Lol I think I will just pull it down to the ramp and back it in and sit in it with the motor running. lol Just joking. It is killing me.  ~b~
