After the usual fuel stabilizer, fogging and draining the lower unit lube and refilling. Theirs two more steps that need to be done. 1. lower the front of your trailer as far as it will go and lower your engine all the way down to drain out all the water. 2. For those of us with all in one gauges, Under the dash theirs a connector in the hose for the water pressure gauge (it has two zip ties on it) cut one of the ties and pull off one end of the hose. this will drain the gauge and keep water from freezing in the gauge. Then  ( by mouth) blow the water out of the hose back to the motor. If possible leave the engine down for a day or two to let it air dry before putting it back on the transom saver. Just something I learned from a mechanic that isn't in your manual.
