Nominations thread for the "Winter/Spring 2011" Tips contest

OK guys and gals, it's time to nominate the best tips from the "Winter/Spring 2011 season" for our next Tips Contest. Another SUPER prize will be up for grabs for the winner of the best tip......a "Quantum E761PT Baitcaster reel" from MonsterFishingTackle.com

Choose your favorite tip or tips from right here in the "Tips Forum" posted between December 17th 2010 and June 30th 2011 and post them right here in this thread (with a live link to the thread if possible). There's no limit to how many tips you nominate and you can even nominate your own.

This nominations thread will end on July 14th and this thread will be locked.

On July 14th I will start a new voting/poll thread here in the tips forum with all the nominated tips and the voting will begin. I will let this contest run until the last day of July and the winner of this Tips Contest will be announced on July 31st.

We have tons and tons of new tips to choose from so get nominating, the prize for the winner will be AWESOME!!

Hornytoader's water intake cleaning tool

This is a fantastic idea especially for those of us that live in the south where we have to on occasion idle through acres of vegetation. The internal foam was a great added idea to an already great tip!!!

If it can be an old tip.I would go with Ron (Fogy) I think.To tie your line to the spool.Take spool out of reel,run line threw line guide out of hole where spool came out and tie it up.That is a great tip but a year or 2 old.

Ok, I have locked this thread and I will start the Final poll "Tips Contest" in another thread.

We had a total of 11 valid nominated tips this time and all 11 will go into the final poll.
