Greetings,

Guys if you know what the make and name of these baits are Pawpaw and I would appreciate you sharing that information with us.

The first one is a small crankbait and the second one is a wooden prop bait.  The prop bait has "Flat sides on it".
Any help in ID'd these baits would be appreciated.

I found the first one on Belton Lake about 1983. It is probably a cheap crankbait I am just curious because I have never seen one like it. Note the scooped out front and bug eyes.

The second one was in an old metal tacklebox my brother bought at a garage sale. It has a wooden body, glass eyes, flat sides and it floats on its side. Any help is appreciated.
I don't mind not knowing all the answers, but I keep forgeting the danged questions.

i dont think it is actually that company but im sure they would be able to help you out. it seems alot of lure are mistaken for theirs so if you contact them they might be able to point you in the right direction.

bassindude

I think the first one was called a Rabble Rouser or something like that.  Looking on Ebay, I see they have several listed there. see if they match.  Jim

Thanks everyone for your answers. bassindude, you nailed it, that is a Rabble Rouser Rowdy, The wooden bait I'm still not sure. Pawpaw made one very similar in the 1920's but the sides are a little different.

The second is a Woodchopper, I believe Heddon made them.

Bottom one almost looks like a Heddon Injured Minnow, but I'm not sure.

I'm sorry, but I believe the Injured Minnow might have been made by Creek Chub. Been a long time since I saw one, but used to catch a lot of fish on it.
