Okoboji and Spirit Lakes...

I'm heading to Okoboji this weekend and have never been there before.  My buddy has a house on west lake and we'll also be fishing Spirit.  He is an alleged "expert" up there, but I've never been.  I'm excited and also anxious to try and coax some smallies out of the famed clear water. 

So, not looking for any honey holes, but just wondering if there are any reports up there or if anybody knows what stage the fish are in.  Any favorite baits for catching both small and largemouths?  I'm taking the flouro and will post as report when I get back.  We'll also be trying for some eyes if anybody knows how they've been going.  Thanks guys.
