June 12th 2011 - International Open Pro/Am Tournament

For all US (or any foreigner) currently based in South Korea, KSA (Korea's #1 bass fishing tournament league) is holding it's annual International Pro/Am tournament on June 12th at Andong Lake.
It is a chance for all expats to fish with a Korean Pro angler in his boat for the day. Andong Lake is a big deep lake with the chance of catching a big bass everytime you fish there.

If any of you are see this and are interested in participating, please send your NAME and SSN to KSA by fax at 02-777-3736 (Korean number).

The entry fee is 100,000 Korean won (around $100) and there will be some good prizes to be won. It's also about meeting other expats based in Korea for a good time.

Wow  - this sounds like it would be a blast. I Think I am going to try and make it down. I just hope I will be able to get another pole in beforehand.  Hey Steve have you tried fishing with braid in any of these clearwater deep lakes? I am highly addicted to power pro and fish it everywhere. People look at me like I'm crazy sometimes but I normally do very well with it. You never know when you'll need that extra strength. I know they finesse A TON around here and not sure how well braid is gonna work with that.

I used to fish with braid a lot, but most of the waters I fish are stained. I'm fishing much more clearer water these days and I only use fluoro. I still use braid for heavy cover jigs or frogs though
