I had posted a question about a month or so ago asking about Strike King worms.  Got lots of responses from people, thanks a lot.
Anyhow, I broke the bank and got a few packs at Wal-mart ($2.98 for 8 in a pack).  Tried them out.  They've actually been working really well.  I won't say they're any better or worse than other plastics, but they defintiely work and I like the price on them too.  They're also a lot more durable than other plastics.

Been catching a lot of fish on them recently, got a 4 pounder last night from a lake I've never caught anything bigger than 2 pounds at before.

Also, I just read another post about the 'trick" worms.  I've never used them.  Sounds like they're pretty good, I'll have to try some of them as well.

I'm not a big fan of Strike King, but I do like some of their plastics baits. In particular, the older 3X baits, which they now call ElazTech, ribbontail worms, Zulu's, and I also like the big 10" Anaconda Rage tail worm.

I use all of these for both LM bass & Striped Bass in tidal creeks, as the worms make great eel imitations, and sometimes Bluefish will be present. Blues will bite a plastic bait in half, but the 3X is more durable than regular plastics, so they don't get mangled as easily. They also float, which I like, as they can be fished throughout the water column & with different degrees of fall when weight is added. Weightless they can be fished on or very near the surface. Carolina or Texas rigged the tails float off the bottom. I use the worms a lot with a jig head. Great baits IMO! My only issue with them has been the price, expensive for the number of baits in a package, so I'll pick them up whenever I find them on sale or sometimes on Ebay!  :)

Glad there working for you. Like bigjim I am not a big fan of Strike King, but they do make some decent soft plastics and I do like there red eye shad also. Best part is they work and are priced right.

I think the biggest think I like about them is the price.

I have used their spinnerbaits in the past and they seemed OK, not great but not bad either.

Never been a big fan of their plastics, but their rage tail trailers are da bomb imo.
