Anyone from Long Island here?  I've done some out of state fishing but now I'm looking into trying some fishing closer to home.  Only place I'm familiar with is Lake Ronkonkoma and I'll be trying it next spring, any other suggestions?

Just joined site.  Not sure if you have a boat or not.  Try Blydenburgh, upper Mills, Artist Lake,  Fort Pond in Montauk.  ~shade

Welcome aboard guys.  Good to see new people here on the UB NY fishing reports.  Wish I could be of more help on the Long Island fishing, but have never been down in that area.  I live at the opposite end of the state on Lake Ontario and the St. Lawrence river.  Hopefully some of the others who know that area will jump in and help out.
