Back in the USA next summer - Info needed please

Hello everyone
I'm planning a trip in California and Oregon next summer
I'd like to fish largemouth in California, and smallmouth in Oregon.

- California: can you tell me what are the best lakes? Do you know good fishing guides?

- Oregon: what are the best rivers? is it possible to go on these rivers with a float-tube?

Check on the California fishing report thread for some better information. Heck you might even be able to hook up with one of the members from here and go fishing with them

You got that right  What I would do firs is decide what part of the big state of Cal I wanted to fish in then post down in the fishing report section and see what you could come up with. I'm sure if we had some members in that area they would be glad to hook up with you and take you out fishing just for the price of gas and that would be a lot cheeper than a guide
