Is a t rig craw fish a good bait for 58 degree water here in early spring?

Any time - any where ;)

Texas rigged craw worms are one of the most effect lures made but one of the most under used.

What he said. I live up here in Seattle and I use them all year around even now when the water temp is in the upper 30`s to low 40`s.
The harbor looks much better after you have made it through a rough storm.

Berkley chigger craw anytime anywhere. Jig it or swim it, it produces strikes like no other.

i have 2 different craw molds that i like to pour. one produces a craw worm with "slapper" claws and the other has faster more erratic craws. i like to use the slapper claws in the colder waters and the erratic once the water warms up. sometime that can even be in the same day for me. ill switch them once the sun comes up. i look at them like jig trailers everone uses the pork trailers in cold water, then fast moving soft plastic i warmer water. i would say try to match the hatch, crawfish are always different colors. but you cant go wrong with black with blue glitter.
