"the laser lure" lmao!! Seems pretty gimmicky to me,but I was just wondering if anyone has tried it and had any luck....

They are actually a good crank bait if you get one that runs true. I don't think the laser has anything to do with it. I like the shallow divers and the premium medium divers. I've caught some nice fish on them when the pressure was on. The traps suck BTW.

Didn't storm or some company have these a bunch of years ago. Never used them but thought they would still be around if they were hot lures.

Used to know a guy who was sponsored by them, and he said nothing but negative things...Couple times I fished with him he broke a few, as they seemed to be very brittle in composition.  I think they have since came out with a second generation, but there are other cranks IMO better for $15.00...

My son takes a hand held laser pointer and has the fish in my home fist tank follow it.

On certain days and certain conditions these lures might be the best on the lake, but day in and day out I would be hard pressed to say the laser helps a lot. As said earlier, there are some nice cranks on the market for 15 bucks.

I bought a few laser lure poppers last year and had some success with them.  They worked especially well at dusk and into the early night, but just because they helped me see.  It really helps to be able to see exactly where they land and how they're doing.  You can also cast them forever on spinning gear.  I'm not sure if the laser really has a positive effect on fish strikes, but it doesn't have a negative one on them.

I only used them once in an area I knew held fish and caught a nice bass before a 10 or 12 lb bowfin absolutely annihilated the lure and tore it to shreds.  I landed it and it was fun.

I can't speak for any of the other lures, but I'd imagine they might have more of the "dog meets laser pointer" effect than the essentially stationary popper.
