Just read the article in today's Times regarding the cypress tree removal on Bistineau to aid in the fight against invasive aquatic vegetation...I've got mixed feeling about this.  I've been on the lake several times the past few weeks out of Grices and the lake looks the best I've seen it in 4 or 5 years, even with it low...I'm just thinking let mother nature have it; last two winters have done more than all the millions fo dollars spent to date...

I agree 100%. The fire did enough tree removal over by us

They need to just leave it alone, God is taking care of our dear old Bistineau!  ~cf

I went to Bistineau yesterday and was riding thru the bossier slough area and noticed all the down trees, i guess a tornado had gone thru there? i thought the lake looked good.

Railroader, thats the area I was talking about. The fire did all that tree damage right out from Wilsons
