I stepped out to my pond a few days ago and dragged a little dink in who immediately curled his tail up and asked me to put him back in the drink bc it was so cold!  ;D It's finally starting to warm up so I got a few more of my rods out to get them ready for the year.  Am I the only one that's taken pictures of some of my tackle or is this normal?  I've only been bass fishing for a couple years so I'm pretty new to this but I'm definitely hooked!  I'd love to see your tackle if you have any pics!  Happy fishing!  :)

You should add at least your state to your profile so we know what area you hail from.

Here in the FL panhandle it is finally warming up enough and starting to get the bass to spawn. There was a small spawn a month ago but it cooled down again so the second spawn should be starting soon if not already.
My wife and I had 22 happy years... then we got married.

Yep it's been warming up here in SW Michigan too.  I already fished the St. Joe River twice and the lakes are starting to open up now too.

Sorry, still new to this forum stuff.  I used to live in Pensacola, speaking of the panhandle.

It's warming up here too! We're in the mid 40s this week (air temps), so bass fishing season is almost here. Like you, my tackle is ready to roll.

March has been miserable.  If it isn't cold & wet, it's cold or wet. Late start this year, today looks to be a winner.  I'll be bringing a spinning rod with 6lb mono, and a baitcaster w/ 10 lb mono.  A small bag of cold water baits.  Thats all I've managed to get ready so far
