Ice fishing locations?

I know you all have a little bit more time before ice over, where do you like to fish?

We grew up on Sarha, Dead Coon, School Grove and Itaska or however you spell it. LOL

My favorite place is Lake of the Woods which I try to fish at least once a year. Ive only done it a few times but I enjoy fishing on the St. Croix River and "down south" on the mississippi river pool 4 near Red Wing. I fish Mille Lacs lake often and I also enjoy fishing Farm Island with my dad and his friend.

  forgot about  Mille Lacs didn't get to fish it that much growing up but when we did we had a great time 

& as much as I don't miss the snow $ cold I do miss the fun of a great ice house & fishing hole & keeping the cold drinks cold in the snow pile by the door

Smart man! Gotta be careful though, I've had to drink many "beer slushies"  by forgetting them in the snow bank 

Just got a confirmation in the mail today, Ive got a cabin booked on Lake of the Woods for the tail end of January, spending 3 days fishing up there...Im super pumped cause we just had the St. Paul Ice Fishing show were I blew a solid $600 bucks on new ice fishing gear.
