   Gillrod Lure Craft probably has the largest catalog of silicone molds. Silicone molds aren't really expensive. Once you get into it you will probably find Bob's and Delmart they make aluminum molds for some baits as expected they are a little more costly but worth the investment as they will have better detail and they last a lot longer. There are two part aluminum molds for making your own sencos. MF manufacturiing is another source for plastic and colorants. Very good company to deal with.

i make my own version of the roadrunner crappie jig. learned it from my grandfather. i love going out to the lake and throwing my lure and reeling them in left and right with people asking what your using. great feeling.

I got a chuckle reading your post, because of all the tools that came with my generic kit, that is still to this very day the only tool I still don't know how to use, let alone have the coordination to use.  ~roflmao  I did learn to do it manually and that's how I roll, uh, or tie now.
ARX - IB's Daughter on BC Reels:
"Papi! I like this reel. It is so much easier to use than the other one (the spinning reel) and it is more fun to use too." Now all I can say to that is this;
"That's my little girl!"

Same here IB, back when I used to tie my own flies, I never used a whip finisher tool. I just used over hand knots and coated with several coats of epoxy to the head.

Congrats on the tying kit! I sent you a PM! I bought a cheap whip finisher many years ago, and also never learned to use the darn thing very well. It didn't work all that well anyway! I since learned how to make a whip finish knot with just my fingers, which is a lot faster for me to do!  lo

Ive been making my own spinners and buzz baits since, 1980. Learned how to tie flys in 1975. I don't tie flys anymore but still have all my stuff. I'm still making spinners spinner baits and buzz baits. The best feeling you can have is to catch a fish on your home made lures.

I started tying my own flies about 10 years ago.  I had a lot of fun watching my dad catch trout on flies that I made for him.  Later I began adjusting some in-line spinners for trout for other friends.  In the past 3-4 years I have moved to painting crank baits.  Painting baits is addictive.  I now have over 250 crank baits in my boat.   ~shhh don't tell the wife.
