Thats funny.  The old 6" purple worm with the pink firetail was my dads favorite.  I bet it will still catch a buncha of fish.  Just might have to go retro this year myself.

i was thinking the same thing. there are all these new "hot" lures, might have to try some trowback stuff and see if they remember it :D

Once again Jesse, very nice pours!  How'd you get the legs on the lizards so good?  Do you pour with poutrin' cups, pyrex measurin' cup, or a Lee pot?  Been thinkin' of gettin' a Presto pot.

you haven't seen the legs in person lol. but seriously thank you. the mold i have is home made from durhams water puddy. when i pour them i pour the body first then do kind of a swoop through the leg back to the body so its connected like the top of a brush hog. i use pyrex cups. i mainly use the smaller 1 cup size since i dont have many molds and i check each cup and buy the ones with a pointier spout so i can have a finer stream. it helps for the legs and for the small opening of my 4" slim stick mold.

A little trim here and there is all it would take.  The bass can't tell the difference.   ;)   :)
