Ok I posted a topic called 'getting a bite' last week and was at a private pond and couldnt catch anything. well yesterday we had a temperature rise of 70 degrees then today it dropped back to 50 well, I threw zoom brush hogs, trick worms, fluke, and not one hit. well i started seeing a few fish feeding on the surface so i figured i would try topwater instead. I put on a silver/blue zarra puppy and first cast to about two foot of water i hooked one. then i went to the other side where i threw it in about six foot of water and got five more hits in about an hour so just thought i would let ya know that and wondered when else would be a good time to use a 'walk the dog' action to catch some fish?

Thanks any help would be appreciated!

i will use a zara anytime the fish are feeding. especially during cloudy overcast conditions. i even love throwing topwaters in the rain as long as its not rainging to hard. open water. shallow. doesnt matter with a zara

I like to walk the puppy on cypress tree lakes as close to the trees as possible.
