I called the dealer I bought it from and they want me to bring it in for pictures....it's 80 miles away.  Not going to happen, that thing is not leaving the driveway without new shoes.  All I need is a blowout on the interstate and wreck everything.  The guy I talked to said they have had some problems with tires.

What did you put on for tires?

Based on the pictures posted. That is from cheap or defective tires. That happens when the internal belts start separating, in turn is becomes softer in that area and the tread starts wearing or coming off really fast. As for alignments there is no adjustments to be made with out modifying the leaf spring perches, which would be a manufacturer defect. An if you wanna check your bearings jack the tire off the ground and then grab the tire and shake it if the hub shakes and makes loud noises its a bad bearing. If you spin the wheel off the ground and hear grinding noises the bearing is bad. But as for the pictures I'm 99.9% sure its the tires. Seen the problem come through my shop many times on vehicles and trailers.

I've seen this problem with Tracker tires in my shop all the time. They are cheap Carlisle bias tires get a good set of radials (like Goodyear Marathons) Load range C should be plenty of plys for that trailers GVW.

Thanks for all the responses.  I'm glad to know there is a cure  :).  They replaced rims and tires for me.  Same tires, but the rims are off the V-bottom trailers.  Anyway, I'll get what I can out of these and move to better tires in the spring.

Just got home from a 1100 mile round trip with the same boat/trailer.  Tread on the inside of both tires is noticeably more worn than the outside tread of the tires but luckily I didn't throw any tread.  Regardless I'm throwing some beefier tow master tires on before winter takes hold.  Think I might just keep two spares in the truck just in case.

Ya, they got me new rims and tires, and they seem to be doing OK, but have not really put any miles on them yet.
Where did you go, and how was it?

Went to Ottertail MN for 2 days. Limited out on walleye in the first 4 hours most in the 18-20 range with the big fish being 23".  Spent the rest of the trip chasin smallmouth.  Figured we landed about 50 in the 2-4 range with the majority over 3 lbs & had one that came in right at 5 lbs. Easily the best 2 days of fishing ive ever had.
