I have a 76 Venture trihull 16ft with a 125 johnson. I have had it a year now but the previous owners never covered it. I have always thought the rear sat a little low in the water despite the engine weight. I did some exploratory drill holes with a small drill bit and every time i pulled it out it had wet foam on it.

What i want to know is, is it worth the time and headache to pull up and replace the floor and foam, or just get a new hull and use the engine i have that runs great?

also what year did they stop using open cell foam and start using closed cell? I found a 89 bass hawk hull and am considering getting it.
The fish will not win. I will keep fishing till I get them. I hope you dont have plans for tomorrow!
