The lake is setting at 161.88 or about 2.5 feet low still. I would say that it will come up a bit with the recent rains north of us but will take a few days to see it begin to rise. Could be wrong but a guess. The fishing is still about the same. Lots of fish to be caught when you find them but they have not been the easiest to find at least for me personally. Found a big school this weekend that had a lot of fish on a main lake point. It was every cast for as long as you wanted to stay there with a 8XD and a dropshop. Alos caught some on a Texas rig and Carolina rig. They are in a spot where they should be there for a while on a big point with a ledge on the side of it just waiting for bait to come by. The fish are setting in about 15 feet of water on the flat.

We also found quite a few schools in brushpiles. Not all piles have bass in , but it seemed like if you could find an area with a lot of piles in one area near a point that there would be a lot of bass mixed in on them that were chasing bit around them and were catchable. There is a lot of guys up shallow right now, I went up there for about ten minutes but it just doesn't feel right for me at this level.  Not to say someone isn't catching them up there that's just a personal preference.  I would much rather find a big school offshore and work on them than pick one or two off here and there. It just takes time to find them.  Some drains are holding some fish as well but you have to follow them back to around 15ft of water before the fish are very catchable unless you want to just scope them. Hopefully we can get the water temp down a little bit this week with this front coming through and things will get right. 75 degrees water temps in November are not ideal but still lots of fish to be caught.
