Crosslake Mn fishing report

I'm headed up to Minnesota from Florida, next weekend for some fishing with some old school friends.  What's the bite like for bass up there these days?  I expect we'll be doing some trolling for walleye too, but two of the five of us will be spending most of our time hunting bass.  Anything in particular that is working better than other things?

Looking for some relief from the heat we've had down here for the last month or so.  No oil washing up on the shores either.
