Looking for a multipurpose rod (but mostly for plastics and flipping, but with enough durability to throw swimbaits, spinners, etc.), ranging anywhere below 50 bucks. Something reliable in that I will feel every strike (A good balanced tip). Any help/suggestions would be appreciated.

i think the bps bionic rods are good, i think they are more around 80 bucks but you can't go wrong with these :D

right around 50 bucks i would say take a look at the Berkley Lightning shock series rods. Split grips deisgned for braided lines but work great with mono and flouro as well.

retail 49.99 - 54.99

here is a review of the one i bought. Berkley Lightning Shock Casting Rod

bass pro also has a rebate right now. when you buy 2 berkley products totaling over 40 you get a 15 rebate
