I agree those are some awesome pics & images...but how do you know the type of fish? a blue cat? crappie? how are you deciphering that?  :-\

There are several ways to identify them...most positive is catching them. But also understanding fish and their territories and habitats help during the seasons makes it easy to identify the species easily.

Catfish image: I showed this to a local Trophy Catfish Hunter and when he looked at the shadow in the image and seen the forked tail he said that only the Blue Cat in Missouri has a forked tail. Take another look...
