hello all,
just thought it would be nice to figure out where everyone in maine likes to spend there time fishing for bass. My favorite bass fishing lake is little sebago, i seem to have fairly good luck, and have caught quite a few lunkers in there. Thanks for reading, and dont be shy to list your favorite spots!

Thanks for the info. I just started fishing in southern Maine last year and am always looking for new places to go to. I fished the Flowage in Limerick with good successs in June but the water was very low. The other place I fish is Bunganut lake in Alfred with good luck . My largest was 4.5 lbs (LMB).

Its good to hear from someone from Maine, Thanks, ~c~ ~c~

Embden Lake, fish it alot because our camp is there, alot of rockpiles offer an excellent smallmouth fishery, as the smallie caught by my son in my avatar shows.
Little Sebago, great night fishing in the Lower Basin.
Panther Pond, relatives camp, good small and large fishin.
Thompson Lake, the rocks for smallies.
Kezar Lake, south of the launch, the bridge and the flats for smallies.
Stanley Pond, small, quiet and alot of nice fish.
Mousam Lake, rock piles for smallmouth and backwater for largemouths.
Sebago Lake, Brandy Pond and Long Lake chain, too much pressure and traffic, best for spending the day on the lakes with family, friends and a couple cold ones! ;)

sounds like you all have your favorite places and its great to see that there are so many great bass lakes and ponds here in maine, and that they are spread out throughout the state.
Thanks for replying everyone, its great to see and hear about others bassin experiences. keep it up and spread the word about this topic, the more replies the merrier(sp?)

renegade, i have to agree with the Sebago lake statement. it is very hard to fish with all the traffic, and fishing is just as good as spending the day on the lake with the friends and family. :)
