Weedless Lure

So I don't know if this is new or not... I seen this years ago for fishing weedless. You bought the lures $$$ with the weedless band system or something like that  . But it gave me the idea  of making my own weedless jigs.

You simply take those small tiny rubber bands, my daughter uses them in her hair. Slip it into the eye of the jig, then pinch it making a small loop. Pull the loop down and attach to the barb of the hook... and there you go, a weedless jig rig... no need for shipping and handling.
