Broken Rod

I have a rod that I ripped the back eye off & need to get it repaired. Any suggestions on who to call would be appreciated.

if you can clean off the part where the eye was take off the metal left of the eye, you can get another one. When you do get it have some thick sewing thread on hand and some super glue. Put a dab of glue on the eye to hold it in place where the old eye used to be then take the thread and wind it around the eye and the rod enough times to cover the metal, make it really really tight and then smear the glue all over the thread and let it set.. or if you dont have the time for this ask Mike Cork the web sight admin, I think he has someone that builds rods for him.

Tommy Custom rods, check his website or take them to Dave at Bayou as Tommy will pick them up there.

Cork uses Dobyns, Noble also an Admin here has rods from Tommy.

Academy sells a kit for this . Probably a lot of other places do too. It has epoxy and rod wrapping thread , everything you will need. It is really easy if you want to do it yourself. The sewing thread works too. I put one on over 10 years ago with sewing thread and fingernail polish, it is still there.

I appreciate the response. I already repaired that eye once, I just figured someone who repairs rods may do a better job.

Mike do you know if Tommy does micro guides?
Ihave a Kistler Helium jig rod I would like to have cleaned up and the guides replaced with micro.
