Charger Question

I have a Exide portable 10 amp charger that I've had for 10 + years. Is it possible for it to loose its charging abilities over time? I appears to be charging correctly but I'm not sure if it is charging my batteries completely.

Yes, it's possible. Check you batteries voltage without the charger hooked up and then check with the charger hooked up, it should be higher. When it shows completely charged it should read somewhere around 13.5Vdc.

A good battery fully charged should read anywere from 12.5 to 12.8 after you unhook the charger and let it sit for awhile.
