need some help

i have a 19 foot, fiberglass bass boat.   i am re-doing it.   its in pretty good shape just needs another battery because it only has one.    my question is, im not sure if the trolling motor works so I will most likely be buying a new or used one.

i am not sure how big of trolling motor or what brand i should get.  could you guys please help me.



p.s.  i am a rookie and im still learning.

On a 19ft boat, i would go with a 80lb thrust minn kota. I have had several Minn Kota tm's and will NEVER buy anything else!

I'll second this opinion. I've owned a Motor Guide and won't go back.

One more for Minnkota, they are great.  I would certainly go for a 80 lb, 24 volt for a 19 ft boat...
