HELP!!!

I'm a Kayak fisher and have been looking for some maps of the water depths and such of the upper bay and the susquehanna river. I've seen some stuff online, but not sure if it would fit my needs or cover the area I want..

Suggestions? PLEASE.

I believe that Susquehanna Fishing Tackle sells a map of the upper bay.

It is not widely known but NOAA has free maps available for download and or viewing on their site.  You can view any map online or you can download them by state or region and use one of the free map viewer utilities available for your PC.  Check it out at http://www.nauticalcharts.noaa.gov/staff/chartspubs.html

I downloaded all of the RNC format maps from the NOAA website http://www.charts.noaa.gov/RNCs/RNCs.shtml.  I then downloaded a free viewer from the NOAA site called Polar View http://www.polarnavy.com/

From that I routinely pull up maps of a particular area (i.e. Northeast Creek, etc.) and zoom in on areas that I am interested in fishing.  I even go as far as making my own maps using another free utility called MWSnap3 which will allow you to make screen shots of the map areas which can then be copied into MS Word Documents, etc.

I've made several maps of the Upper Bay and Potomac area using this technique and even include satellite pictures from Google Earth or Bing Maps.

I can walk you through it if you need any assistance.  I can even make you a custom map if you tell me the specific area of interest.  I can format the map into Adobe .pdf which you can print and get laminated and carry on your kayak or boat.

Let me know.....
