got my tests done (taking math classes on line) early this morning...so this gave me some time to play with the boat...I installed an HDS-7 last spring...and picked up the LSS-1 module this past January...so it was time to put it together...

I'm very 'slow' when it comes to eletrical stuff...so I end up having to read the instructions about 4-5 times...and retrace steps 9-10 times...

so, let's just say I was involved with lots of learning to day...

Ran out of time to complete...two last things to do:
1.  connect the LSS-1 to power
2.  mount the LSS-1 box under the console...

Shouldn't take too much longer...  then I'll be 'water ready'...

will get it done this week...spend the weekend cleaning out the inlaws garage...but the following weekend:  I AM on the water...April 9 is vacation...plus Sat/Sun...and I am sooooooo ready...

Coldfront,  When you decide you really need the 10 instead just send the 7 to me so it doesn't clutter up your garage.  ;) ;D lo

If I were to go up a size, it'd be the '8'...but I don't believe you need to worry about that for a very long time Shawn...a very, very long time... ;D

April 9th should be my first day on the water...and my first opportunity to 'get to know' my new equipment...

hoping to take some images that I can share...

Really looking forward to June and taking this up to South Dakota (chasing pike, smallies and largemouth)...seeing if I can take some photos of a few 'gators' (40+ inch pike)...

Just installed the HDS 7 this past sunday and the structure scan come in tomorrow. I will have installed by end of the evening and then my hds 5 is on back order.   I was actually very pleased with the 7.  Is size is pretty big.  I put i on a big ram mount and man it looks nice.  Cant wait to use it this weekend.  Its a ton to learn though.  Makes the old x-87 look like caveman stuff.
