Hey guys I was reading a very good post in dock talk section and it really hit home and made alot of sense.  It talked about sometimes how we take the simple things in life for granted, our health, family, friends and so forth and how we should step back once in a while to remember the little things to be thankful for and to tell friends and family how much they mean to us and our spouses how much we care for them and important  they are to us.  Just when you think things are bad look around and someone always has it worse, or like those fmailys with family in our armed forces away from home for the holidays.  So take a moment today and thank those that are are important to us and it never hurts to tell your spouse or fmaily how much they mean to you, theres your thought for the day guys and something to think about                ~cf

Well put Ray and I second that because it sure seems like time goes by a lot quicker and if you blink it will pass us up. I read an email and wish I still had it but it explained making the best of our time here while its always to short. For example when someone passes and there will be a date such as 1936-2009 lets not look at the numbers lets look at the dash and thats the most important thing lets make the most of our dash. Hope everyone has a great Christmas and a safe and happy New Year. ~c~

Hey guys,
Hope you all don't mind me putting a post on your site, but after reading these two, I couldn't resist. I just turned 59 in October, and can't get over just how quickly time goes by. Just like that country song "Don't Blink" says, you blink and 10 years go by! Really makes you set back & take stock in the rest of your life.
One thing I've learned is not to get upset over the little things in life. It just isn't worth it. I've made a lot of good friendships over the years. I've also lost some because of stupid disagreements that when you look back, are really insignificant in the overall scheme of life.
I've decided to just slow down, not let little things get to me, and try to get more satisfaction doing the things I enjoy, particulary fishing. I've always tried to live by the golden rule, but sometimes I've been too judgemental of others. I'm gonna try like heck to just ignore arrogance & rudeness without letting myself get uptight about things I can't control anyway.
Well, sorry to leave such a long post, so I'd like to wish all of my friends at Freedom Bass Anglers a very Merry Christmas & Happy & Safe New Year!

With that said yea I dont let some little things bother me as much either or I tend to try to enjoy family and friends a little more because as everyone agrees, time goes by way to fast.......
