using used fishing line

when you take old line off your reel, try putting it on a empty line container and save it.  Fishing line is great in repairing upholstery and heavy thick materials...i.e. coats, jeans, car seats, bags, and tents.  Braid is great to sew upholstery back together.

Great idea crash 
In fact, just a few weeks ago I snapped the tip of one of my rods and I reused the old top line guide on the rod and secured it using some old braid and super glue. It's working great.
