Hook Keepers

This has probably been on before too but reading Baron's post made me think of it. If you have any older Bass Pro Shop rods or any that didn't come with a hook keeper you can make one with a split ring and a small cable tie. Fasten the split ring to the rod just above the handle with the same cable ties you use on the jigs and spinnerbaits. It will last as long as the rod.
I don't mind not knowing all the answers, but I keep forgeting the danged questions.

Sorry buddy, I don't know how to put up pictures. Basically though you just run the cable tie through the split ring and around the rod. I put mine just in front of the foregrip, but you can put it anywhere you want.
I don't mind not knowing all the answers, but I keep forgeting the danged questions.

I have3 used ring type cable ties on several of my rods. Basically just like what is shown except just use the ring on the tie as your hook keeper.
