Gas Line Replacement

I've mad this mistake just once.  I replaced the gas line with bulb (the one you squeeze to push fuel into your motor) on my boat because rubber was cracking and weathered due to age.  When complete I could not get that motor to start for anything.  Rechecked my work and found that the bulb on the fuel line has an arrow on it.  This arrow shows direction of fuel flow.  Make sure the arrow is pointing towards the motor and not the tank.  If not pointing to the motor - you will be sucking gas out of the motor and putting it back in the tank and will have same issues starting that I had.

Great tip Swede. I recently added a fuel tank, line and bulb to my boat and I was lucky enough to remember to check the arrow on the bulb.
