I would probably get envolved on the river  :-* Don't remember when the ABA two day is off the top of my head other than it's in August.

With all the rain that they are calling for not sure the river would be a good idea. Morning for me, I have got to be at Thunder Road Raceway Park in the evening on the 8th. No way I could may the 9th.

I just looked out the front door PAPA and would say Caddo came up 1/2 a foot over night, maybe a little more.

I went out this morning and it is HIGH! There are boats floating everywhere. If this rain doesn't stop ya'll might want to cancel this. Caddo looks like the Red River did this past spring. The water looks like chocolate milk in some places.

Thanks Wayne, what about color?

I like chocolate milk, especially goes well with chocolate cake lo

Jared

There was a jon boat from Johnson's Ranch that was dang near all the way out to the Fatboy Trees and a ski boat was floating down Government Ditch with nobody in it!

Jared you are talking about very restricted areas of flow, when you talk about Big Cypress Bayou, Alligator Bayou, & Govemment Ditch. For sure things will look bad in those areas, but things can look pretty good on the lake. PAPA I will put the boat in and tell you what's up with color and surface temp in the morning. I may even wet a lure or two, that is if the rain will let me.

Jared

The muddy water from Big Cypress is flowing out towards the main lake. Now it's raining again and it will probably continue to rise.

The water coming in from all the rain is a good thing, the bad thing is when the Red River backs Twelvemile Bayou up over the spillway. That is when all the flooding starts on Caddo.

Wayne are you going this afternoon? I need a free guided trip on Caddo ;D

caddobass

All my plans seem to fall apart at the last minute PAPA. I was going to take the duck boat out to look around this afternoon. Give me a call on my cell 469-5282.
