Red River Public Ramps Closing, in Pool 5 (Bossier/Caddo Parishes)

I will be locking the public ramps, in Pool 5, in the morning.  The river will have risen to a point to where the docks will go underwater and the current will be above 50,000 cu ft/sec.  Just wanted to give everyone a heads up.  Lots of debris has been coming down the past few days, large trees.

A lot of rain here and north of us has pool 5 on the rise.

It will get to you sooner or later. It's amazing how diverse that river is. It changes every year.

As far as I know, other pools will not be affected...only Pool 5.  All public ramps in Pool 5 are currently closed until further notice.
