Trim Guage

I'm interested in installing a trim guage on my boat if it isn't too complicated. What does a trim guage connect to? Do I have to run a wire to the motor? I couldn't find any installation directions on the internet.

Blue is up green is down.    You will need a wire for the backlight.  Purple is hot on the boat splice into it.

Make sure your motor can accept a trim gauge, or you may need a mechnical one.  The best gauge you can get is a water pressure gauge.
