I was just wondering haw much does someone really save after buying all the spraying equip. then learning how to use it and even pouring your own molds or rubber baits even though you can customize them is a plus but after all is said and done do you really save that much? I would agree if your really good and can make a $20+ lure and you go through them I guess it would be worth the time & effort to take some painting classes and learn but just in general for some end of season sales is it really worth it. Thanks for your time in reading this.

Seems like most of these guys make their own for the satisfaction and enjoyment, not the savings.  I would love to be able to make my own lure and then catch some nice fish on it....but I'm just not the creative type.  I have trouble painting a wall in my house, much less something like a realistic bait.   :-\

I'm right next to you man I can't even hardly do those birds like a checkmark and a stick man so I guess it's like you said for their own satisfaction. There are some talented painters out there. :shocking:
