Help With Line!

Hey guys i was wondering what pound line on a baitcaster you guys use for crankbait and jerkbait. Also what size you guys use for Jigs and Plastics.

i use 10lb Vicious fluorocarbon for jerkbaits and cranks that dive to about 14ft. i use 12lb Vicious fluorocarbon for cranks that go deeper than 14ft. for jigs i use 15lb or 17lb Vicious fluorocarbon and for soft plastics i use 15lb Vicious fluorocarbon. doug

10-12# Fluorocarbon on cranks and jerks, 15-20# Fluoro on jigs and plastics.   Also trying 50# braid this year on plastics and jigs.

I will be using 10 or 12lb fluro for cranks and jerkbaits this year.  I have not decided on brand yet, I have had no problems with any P-Line product but have heard good things about Vicious.

I use 14 lb mono for cranks and 50 lb Power Pro for everything else.

I use 40# Powerpro for everything except finesse. My finesse set-ups have 10 lb fluoro

I use 12lb. fluorocarbon on cranks and jerk baits. Bass Pro XPS or P-Line, depends on which one is on sale when I stock up.

I use 30# powerpro and 20# fireline for everything except dropshotting and float n fly.  For that I use 8# stren.

i use 20lb sufix performance braid on my baitcaster. I use various jig and plastics sizes but for powerbait worms i use 1/16 shacky head jigs

My wife has sufix performance braid on her president and my 5 year old has it on her rod. its some smooth line.
