When did they drop the water so much :-\  I spent the morning looking around spring lake and wow there is no water.  I got stuck running into the back, and I also got stuck trying to idle back out.  The radio said the river stage was 12.2 but I have never hit bottom going back there in my boat let alone get stuck.

Water temps were back down to 46* ::)  The only action I had was a big 3.5-4 pounder roll on a swimjig.  Then the wind started going crazy.

The worst part of the day was on my way back out there was a great guy that cut infront of me in the middle of the lake. ~rant  Insted of slowing down to 45mph and going behind me he cut in front and made me slam his wake.  Wow was I really wanting to go back and talk with him.  If it was not bad enough with 3 foot waves, then you have to deal with guys like that.

They have been dropping the water for overa week now. Spring was really muddy yesterday evening but I had temps in the 57-59 range aroung 7pm. Caught one Hawg by the pebble  ;) Fishing was tough for everyone yesterday.

The secret to the pebbles stability Lip is that its actually a very small tip of Mount Missippius that just barely pokes through the bottom. Mount Missippius fell from the terrain in 100,984 B.C. when the great Iron Wood tree's roots collapsed leaving a tremendous sink hole into which it fell. This is why the pebble is key  ;)  ~shhh

SO I hear that Wis is expecting 2-4 inches of rain over the next 2 weeks, so I am sure the water will come back up as some of that comes down the river.

OK, Thanks...that's what I figured, but was not sure. I have a tourney up at Harper's this Sunday and was looking at and area called Spring lake as well. I'm a total newb to the river so I didn't know if there were 2 areas called Spring Lake :)

Thanks,
Darrin
