Ok guys I just won a free custom built rod from a B.A.S.S. drawing..

2 Custom Built H2rods Spinning OR Casting Combos with GLoomis Hats!
1). Winner = Craig Plummer – Woodbury , MN

My question is what do I need to round out my arsenal of bass fishing rods? Here is what I currently have

Spinning:
6'0'' MH <---- Docks, jerkbaits???
7'0'' M <---- Senkos, Worms, tubes
Casting:
6'8'' M <---- Spinnerbaits, Crankbaits???
7'2'' MH <---- Jigs

So my question is, what would you add if you could chose your next rod....

Thanks,
Craig

ps. does anybody know anything about H2rods, are they nice?

Congrats on the WIN!!!!

I'd go with a 6'6" MH worm rod

Congrat's on your win!  ~c~  Go for the "GUSTO" and have them make you a SwimBait rod! Better to get a nice one now then pay for one later! 7'6" or 8'(if possible).

I'd have another 7' MH/Fast made, then a 7'+ Heavy/fast to take over the jig capabilities. Use the 7'2" for TX rigging and the likes.

id get a 7'6 finese rod for soft plastics and flipping with a revo stx on it

You can't have too many jig rods, but a finesse rod would be good too! I like the 7'6" suggestion also!

fenwick/stcroix or st.croix/fenwick: which should I choose? there is stream in the mid-ohio region which is below a the spill way of a dam. sometimes this stream runs pretty fast. at times the walleye fishing is pretty good . one of the challenges is when you hook up with a nice walleye 5-6 pds. or better. they like to run upstream about 20 or 30ft. turn around and make a mad charge back down stream using the current, "talking about a runaway dumptruck"!!! personally I believe someone is giving these fish college courses on how to break your line and or your rod. I've used 3 different rods on this stream to stop and overcome these walleyes. A fenwick hmg or a hmx, st.croix premier  plus an ugly stick. in order to stop the mad charge down stream quite a bit of pressure had to be put on each of these rods, ranging from a 61/2 Lt. action to a 7ft. med. these rods were "almost bent over double" and couple of times I still had to get in the water to net these fish. If the fenwick corp. had been there with a camcorde it would had been GREAT for their advert. the fishermen across the stream from me asked twice what kind rod I was fishing with, the pd. test line and what reel, even if I must say myself that fenwick put on a clinic that day!!! and of course you already know how the ugly stik faired. but the st.criox BROKE!!!!! now I am not a professional, I am just a guy who loves a good fight, but I KNOW THIS STREAM AND I KNOW WHAT ROD TO TAKE WITH ME TO GET THE JOB DONE ! that"s an opinion from a humble fisherman.
