My latest project.   It looks like a regular head but is it lead?  NOPE.

A bismuth tin jig head.   8-)

is that heavier or lighter than lead?

Cool. Is tin easier or harder than lead for painting??  Any more info about the tin??

Its lighter and melts at a lower temp.  Its also more brittle and will be another learning curve like lead.  Completely different characteristics.  Lot more expensive too.  2lbs was about 40 dollars. :shocking:

Wow, I think I'll stick with lead then  lo

Right now I dont blame you one bit.  I am too.  This was a mess around with deal.

I'd bet in 10yrs lead fishing will be gone.  It will all be non tox.

In the UK (where I'm from originally, and fished) lead was banned from some waters many many years ago due to water fowl getting poisoned. I guess that no such bans will happen in Korea in the forseeable future.
