YOUTH:

Discussion of the clubs holding Casting kids events as a mandatory function to remain in good standing with the DBFN. Bob Moody discussed dates (5/16) for the Cast for Kids youth tournament sponsored by Reel Expectations, to benefit the Mel Sechepine scholarship fund.

Eastern Shore Bassmasters will hold a youth fishing derby open to the public on May 9th at Wyoming Pond and Park. 10AM - 12PM with a Casting Kids competition, to qualify two youth anglers for the state championship.

PUBLIC RELATIONS:

the Eastern Shore Bassmasters were published in the Milford newspaper for their conservation work at Griffiths Lake.

CONSERVATION:

Bob Wallace discussed the holding tank construction and status update. There was also a discussion on the potential for Federation Nation members to get involved with a fish rearing project with DNREC. Details will be provided at a later date.

TOURNAMENTS:

The 4/26 Link's Marine Open on the Upper Bay will still launch out of Anchor Marine at 7AM. Other tournaments are expected so get there early. Registrations are online at www.eteamz.com/delaware_bass, and will also be accepted the morning of the tournament.

OLD BUSINESS:

The plaques were handed out to those that missed them at the December meeting.

Two mercury props were sold to DBFN members. 

Bob Wallace was reimbursed for the balance of his airfare to the Classic.

NEW BUSINESS:

Dave will revisit the by-laws for the Federation Nation, and present another draft for club review.

The Triton Alliance boat package is available to members at a significantly discount and the March deadline to members only has passed. The Federation Nation will now advertise outside to non-members for this deal...
